Anglicans (also known as Episcopalians in the US) are the britfag faction of the Protestant Reformation and members of the Church of England.

After Martin Luther posted his 95 Thesis in 1517, former British Monarch, King Henry XIII, decided to take part in the trolling in 1527 by creating the Church of England and separating from the Catholic Church purely so he could divorce his annoying wife, which the Pope refused to grant to him. In fact, his infidellous cock went on to do this 5 more times.

In short, the Church of England only exists because one of their fat kings couldn't keep it in his pants. Heck- he could hardly keep it in his own damn codpiece!

Now-a-days, Anglicans still allign with the Anglican Church because their communion indulges in a meal better fit for the English people, consisting of tea and crumpets instead of bread and wine.

Anglicans are also accredited with creating the word "Antidisestablishmentarianism", the longest word in the English language.
