Keep in mind: THIS is the target audience.

"Stranger Things" is the brand new autistic cash cow for the terrible streaming network, Netflix. It labels itself as a sci-fi horror series that takes place in the 80's about some fag named Will who gets pwned to the Upside Down. So his 4 gay friends must find him. Oh, and his mother and this police officer also try to find him and such, we dunno. It's about as asinine of a plot as you can get with a series about this.

Unfortunately, the show has a massive fanbase of fans that just won't let the show die, has a plethora of clothing and toys for idiots to show off their "ULTIMATE NURDINEZZ LOLOLOLOL", and even has its own Target Exclusive DVD/Blu-Ray box set of the first season. Why a Netflix show has that is beyond us.

There's currently 2 seasons of this abomination, with a third season on the way. Thankfully it'll end either on the fourth or fith seasons.

The Excellent Characters

Will Byers - Basically the nonbinary child who gets captured and sent to the Upside Down, and is not seen physically until the VERY END of Season 1. He does get a more prominent role in Season 2, but let's be honest: he should've been left out all together.

Joyce Byers - Keeps trying to talk to her son through lights, and keeps talking like a drug addict when trying to reach ahold her son.

Jim Hopper - A dumb but very fuckable cop who joins in on finding Will, and calls in a fucking search party to find him as if the whole fucking town cares about a child's disappearance.

The Demogorgon - No, we're not joking. The people who made the show literally stole a character from Dungeons and Dragons and glued him into this show.

Mike Wheeler - No link for him because he's the most insipid character of the whole show. Has a thing for Eleven, and is the leader of the gang for finding Will.

DA ULTIMATE FAEC OF EVILLLLLLL.

Eleven - D@ M0ST P0PUL3R CH@R@CTUR 1N D@ SH0WWWWWWW!!!! Basically the character that everyone loves to cosplay as. (Even men.) Has telekinetic powers, made a kid fucking piss himself, has an obsession for Eggo-brand waffles, is the key to finding Will, and dies at the end of Season 1, but comes back to life in Season 2.

TL;DR, she's basically your average Mary Sue but with the mind of Criss Angel.

Dustin Henderson - HE HAS NO FRONT TEETH. HE HAS A FUNNY WAY OF TALKING. HE SAYS "SHIT" WRONG. LAUGH.

Lucas Sinclair - The one token black kid 'cuz every gang of characters needs one. The one who's unsure about Eleven at first, but befriends her.

The Fanbase

Yes, much like EVERY SINGLE FRICKIN' TV SHOW, the series has a rising fandom. Mostly comprised of people who grew up in the good ol' 1980s, or Hot Topic fangirls that love this shit.

Tons of the merchandise exists at places like Target, Hot Topic, and other places. It's almost on par with Rick and Morty in that sense.

The Homophobic Millie Bobby Brown Meme

In an attempt so lulzy that many people joined in on this trend, some faggot by the name of Kelsfiona on Twitter did the unthinkable: she made Millie Bobby Brown, the actor for Eleven, to look like a homophobe. This tweet got so popular enough to the point where almost everybody on Twitter joined in on the trend of making Millie look like a homophobe. On top of that, everybody was using the hashtag, #TakeDownMillieBobbyBrown.

The glorious tweet that started it all

Of course, the Stranger Things fanbase didn't take this shit lightly, and everybody screeched at the tweets, like unprofessional autists. Many news reports claim that, and I quote "the fact that that fun is coming at the expense of a 14-year-old girl raises questions of whether this type of humor is also a form of bullying." TL;DR, they're using the excuse that she's just a child and she needs to be protected from the "bad men".

Because of all the "hate" that Millie received over Twitter, she made the oh-so tough decision to close down her Twitter account, causing the fanbase to screech louder than they can ever screech before.
