Artycat is the practice of spamming odd, slightly frightening cat pictures into someone's journal entry. The artwork and nomenclature comes from the now-deceased aol artycat website which provided the images as well as prices for purchase. The subjects include kittens, tigers and snow leopards.
Not to be confused with Party Cat.
