PTchan
PTChan is a Portuguese imageboard that was created by an undeniably creative genius known as ##Admin##. Little indeed is known of him, discounting that fact that he would have been much better off if he had simply rolled his head on his keyboard to create a username.

DagoChan
PTchan, being Yet Another Completely Unnecessary Imageboard©, experiences little to no genuine activity. The pitiable place is completely overrun with frothing moralfags and other painfully dim individiuals who have forsaken the most noble pursuit of lulz. Contrary to what you doubtlessly imagine in your tiny little mind, the boards used to be filled to the brim with femanons. For reasons that can only be explained via invoking gross stupidity, the Portuguese call them "anonas." As time went on, however, femanons got tired of the autism and started leaving in droves, much to the confusion of PTchan's users.
History
Nuno Pereira was the founder and first administrator, but he couldn't handle the criticism and inevitably reset the boards whenever people offended his delicate sensibilities, or because he is so utterly incompetent that he couldn't help but to hard delete his site's data. After a period of self-ruin and suffering chronic butthurt at the hands of his users, he ended up pretending that he had moved to China, and then eventually sold the chan for good.
The second owner, known as Nuno II "O Ausente" (The Absent), never actually showed up, and it's been speculated that his only interest in the website was the users' personal information. This was actually accepted by the portuguese because it at least meant that the website didn't get reset when someone said something mean about the owner or his favorite soccer club, Benfica. Regardless, as time went on, the lack of presence from the owner and the lack of changes to the website started to wear on the users (it turns out people don't like to be stuck on 90s software forever), so Nuno II sold off all the personal information he had gathered, and then sold the website itself.
Nuno III "O Reformador" (The Reformer) actually put some time into making positive changes to the website. He installed new software, reformulated the boards, added new upload options for files, added new banners, and even found the time to expose an astroturfing operation by Sporting on the /des/ board. However, all this work took its toll on him and he stepped away from the site in order to catch his breath for a while. When he came back, he found that the website was down because he hadn't automated the payment process. Not wanting to go through the work of getting everything back up and running (this retard didn't have any backups), he decided to put the website up for sale.
There was a problem though. Nuno III was quite greedy and would only sell the website for a thousand euros, which is more than any PTchan user earns in a full year. So a new website was created. Still called PTchan, but on a new domain (ptchan.org), the new website kept much of the old community, but the new owner, known as "Asterisco" (Asterisk), is from Angola, which drove most of the white supremacists away, but no one really cared too much. What people did care about was his innovative approach to running the website. Instead of adding new features, he removes them. It remains to be seen how this will work out for PTchan in the long run.
