Big Chungus is a meme of an obese Bugs Bunny from a Looney Tunes cartoon, were he taunts Elmer Fludd over his failure to catch him. This meme was picked by the internet in late 2018, and was spammed to death by unfunny normies, and became the biggest forced meme since Ugandan Knuckles and plagued the internet through early 2019.
Development
In 2012 nerd British scum known as Jim Sterling, first coined a game called "Chungus" on Destructoid. A user on Urban Dictionary was dumb enough to look at Jim Sterling and made a dictionary entry about. The Urban Dictionary users are known for high amounts of anti-lulz, due to the ever single user is universally hated by everyone else. The users typed "everything and anything".
On November 27th, 2016. When someone on iFunny posted a screenshot from Second Life titled "Big Chungus".
In 2017 someone on 4chan lit posted unfunny bullshit with a picture of a fat Bugs Bunny, 4channers responded to thread not giving a shit about literature and instead focused on a fat Bugs Bunny the idiots they are.
Prank
On December 1st, 2018 Somebody thought it was good idea to ask for a copy of Big Chungus for PS4. He phoned GameStop as an attempt to save the Battletoads. A GameStop employee who lucky hasn't seen the Battletoads meme (and while working at a dying store, still has more of a life than these basement-dwellers) actually thought it was real. This created the only lulz from the meme.
Other Variants
Ugandan Chungus
Somebody saw the two worst memes of 2018, and decided to merge them for abomination to spread. Ugandan Chungus is the ultimate form cancer that spread across the internet in 2019 to make Big Chungus even more insufferable. VR Chat users wanted it's last share of relevance and trolled a bunch of users with the avatar.
Karen Chungus
Some one saw an image of some random Karen on the internet and saw the Anti Vaxxer memes, and the level 100 mafia boss meme to artificially give the meme more life time by combing it with other cancerous memes. Since nobody has a sense of lulz, it was spammed across the internet. Thankfully this was the last of Big Chungus.
The US Army honors Big Chungus
As a spree to get likes on Instagram, they US army names artillery canon after Big Chungus. This like they thought blew the post up.
