A meatpuppet is the human version of a sockpuppet, meaning it is one or more people acting as, or prolonging the actions, of another. There are roughly two groups of meatpuppets: dickhangers, lesser trolls who impersonate their more well-known counterparts, and shady pseudo-anonymous faggots acting under a cause (see: every one of Daniel Brandt's goons).
Differences from sock people and sockpuppets
Because meatpuppets are living people (or lack thereof) there is a significant difference from sockpuppets.
