Works & Theories
Aristotle wrote as many as 200 treatises on a fuck-ton of subjects (even on music, aesthetics, and sex). Too bad only a third of it remains.
Here is his most prominent work:
- The first solid logic of the earth being round.
- Classification of many living things (vertebrate, invertebrates, and others), which founded Zoology.
- The logic how women are inferior and "deformed males", as well as "more deceptive, more impulsive ... more jealous, more querulous" than men.
- The fifth element (fire, air, water, earth, aether).
- The first systemised way of winning an argument (formal/informal fallacy), basically how anyone can bullshit and manipulate someone to win an argument (ad hominem, straw man… etc).
- As well as many forms of logic in reasoning, of which are uninteresting to write down.
- The basic necessities to a good life, and understanding it (ethics).
