Forgot to mention, online death threats hold no meaning whatsoever. On average I generate close to a dozen or more death threats a week, sometimes spiking into the hundreds with particular projects and have been getting them since the mid 90s...and keep in mind I have ALWAYS openly posted my own docs since the mid 90s...so I think it's pretty safe to say they are what they are...threats, and not much else. Wrong. ED merely acquired a license for usage - and supposedly for taking legal action. However, 1. that would most likely still need to be backed by the original contributors (good luck finding them), and 2. that would probably not hold in court. I know we're all mad about what happened and we're all feeling the butthurt, but we need to all try to not show it in our writing.

I came here above all other articles because I knew that this would be the most prominent of the issue to be discussed (other than the ohinternet page). I am absolutely ecstatic about ED.ch, but the tone of these articles needs to be addressed. With the language and crude insults being used in an almost childish way, it's looking more and more like an angry hate blog on livejournal rather than the ED we all know and love. A good ED article doesn't show hate; it delivers satire in a witty tongue-and-cheek crudeness with a sense of professionalism behind it. It was approached as if each article is written by a journalist who finally snapped and, instead of shooting up his office, decided to weave out beautiful articles documenting his employer's past of cocaine addiction and tranny prostitutes for all the world to enjoy.

I know girlvinyl hurt you; she hurt us all. But you need to try to suck it up enough to put out quality articles that are less "OMG FAT WHORE FUCKING CUNT BITCH GREEDY ASS JEW NIGGER FUCK" and more approachable to future generations of those who enjoy a little quality with their lulz.

If you have never written an ED article before, I ask that you please refrain from doing any more work with this article. The article has far more hurt than quality as it is. Having worked on many articles on the old ED, what girlvinyl did was lame, but nothing more than an additional section to be added to her article, not something to appear throughout the entire theme of it.

Let's try to grow past this and continue what we made at the old server. And let's start with this article, right here.

In the DMCA notices, I've noticed Sherrod is using a redacted address in Kalamazoo, Michigan. A cursory glance at the White Pages shows this address. "Sherrod Ellen DeGrippo 6170 Thunder Bluff Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49009-9127". Now, it's likely that this is some kind of proxy address she uses for mail or legal matters, but it might be worth looking into for a more interested person. Also, thanks for bringing ED back! You know, it might be kind of fun to start a class action LOLsuit against Miss Hippo for not refunding people's donation money after she sold out the site. As much as I'd like to fuck with the hippo in any way possible, I do not have a whole lot of faith in any sort of lawsuit. Her lawyer could easily argue that OhShiternet is just an improved incarnation of the original ED, and the donations were made to ED for the purpose of improving the site. To be honest, the best shot we have is simply putting our resources towards making sure that OhI remains as commercially unviable as possible until it becomes a money pit that the fat cunt is forced to get rid of.
