• The TJC is the community portal. It's linked to from every page; just look at the top left of the page. Check it daily.
• Use Special:Upload to upload pictures. Be sure to give them meaningful names. Also, do not upload any CP or Bestiality pr0n or you will be b&.

A few words of advice, if I may

Hello, I see you are attempting to create an article. While I thank you for any contributions to the great and powerful Encyclopedia Dramatica, your article is not yet up to our standards. You indicated that you are new to editing, so I thought I would help you get started.

1. Images. Wikis don't hotlink images, so before you can use one, you must upload it here. On the left sidebar, you will see a link called Upload file. After uploading a pic, you may use it in an article, generally like this: [[File:YourImageName.jpg|thumb|Witty caption here]]. "Thumb" makes it appear as a thumbnail on the right side of the page so as to not interfere with the lulzy text, and it also allows you to place a caption below the pic for greater exposition or humor.
2. Talk pages. Communication works best when you don't reply to someone on your own talk page; leaving your comment on the talk page of the person you are addressing notifies them of a new message. In my case, clicking the flag in my signature will take you to my talk page. After that, click the + at the top of the page to create a new section of text at the bottom. Always sign and date discussions with ~~~~.
3. Welcome links. I'm just going over a handful of basics here. As the welcome message that I left earlier states, the editing guides are required reading.
