Before making your first article look over ED:101. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being banned by ED Sysops.

We realize a lot of you are busy or may be new to ED, so here's just the most important info:

Hello Sir or Madam, I see you have taken me up on my suggestion. Seeing that this in fact a legal matter we will need proof of identity in order to proceed with the process of requesting an article appeal. To confirm that you are indeed the person this article is about we will need two things. A picture that we can identify you with and some sort of confirmation code to prove the said picture is indeed authentic. What I suggest is a mug shot sort of picture of whom the article is about holding up a piece of paper with the confirmation code: "Int3rn3t Trial" written on it. It is my hope that with the provided piece of identification we will be able to continue with the appeal request. I recommend the identifying picture be uploaded via the Anonmgur website that is located here: http://www.anonmgur.com/ although which service you use is completely up to you.   • Alright. I will. After all, most of what ED is pure fanfiction as mentioned in the Disclaimer and it is for parody purposes. And i'm pretty sure no one reads it anymore. And since it's just satirical, no one really has to read it or take it seriously. It's just jokes, and nothing but jokes.

But here's the thing hun, when you come in and talk about removing the article and blanking it, it makes the ED community curious, so they read it, and then they tell people and it goes from an article no one has interest in to an article that everyone wants to read.
