Mafiaboy was the Hacker alias of Micheal Calce, a guido from Montréal, Canada who is responsible for one of the biggest DDOS attack in history. Calce, like any kid, liked to troll and sometimes from his own saying was trying to develop types of computer attack that would scare the hell out of his competition In a way that they would just want to run away. He took it to another level when he decided to target with Denial of Service attacks many large american corporations such as Amazon, CNN, Dell, E*Trade, eBay and Yahoo! Fortunately, nothing of value was lost because those companies are a large pile of shit anyway.

Usually, when a customer is not satisfied with his product, he calls the company to fill a complain. But not Calce. He didn't trolled them the regular way. He took it personal. He just DDOSed them. Causing them massive loss of revenues in the making. Kidding apart, mafiaboy probably decided to attack these specific websites for their very powerful servers: estimation was that he controlled in botnets roughly 40% of US university computers. Remember , it was in 2000, with not so much security on the internet. He had a very strong botnet firepower and he wanted to grasp the real extend of it. He managed to do all of this at 15 years old.

The day after 9/11, he received his conviction with candy punishment(really, he was even authorized restrictive use of internet) probably because everyone in the tribunal was feeling sorry for the Americunts and they somehow evacuated this faggotry into Calce who received only 8 months of open custody, a small fine and one year of parole.
