May I rewrite the article?

- I don't think the article needs to be rewritten by the by...cleaned up, yeah, but not really rewritten. Remember, it's supposed to be about documenting the lulz...and LOL Cats ~are~ lulz. Adding a "shock image" section would be good, but replacing ~all~ lulzy content with nothing ~but~ shock imagery...mmmm...doesn't seem very productive. Although a separate article ~could~ be created specifically ~for~ LOL Cats and then cat/cats/etc could just link to shock content. Just an idea. --Onideus

Article Is Borked!
If you open the main gallery it'll pretty well crash yer browser and/or not load entirely. The galleries should be split apart, I recommend by the following categories:
- Captions (if it has text on it)
- Digital Editing (fauxpics/photoshops and the like)
- Costumes (or clothing)
- Animated
Also any MEME oriented ones should be moved to the MEME gallery, but there should just be *ONE* per meme (the rest should be moved to their own article). Like in the main gallery there's like a half dozen "invisible ******" meme cats. Or, on the flip side, if a particular meme does *NOT* have its own article, then it should get it's own sub gallery (presuming it has at least five pictures), otherwise the smaller set could just be put into the main meme gallery. --Onideus 01:02, 21 February 2013 (EST)

- It's variable, depending on your browser, system, etc. Every time I click on that gallery, on my system, the memory load shoots into the gigabyte range and on my DSL line it chokes on loading about halfway through...then sometimes crashes. Keeping in mind though I have 117 other tabs open in 3 instances of Firefox to boot. The browser/memory load probably isn't as bad if you don't have a bunch of other stuff open. But on the flip side, my system has EEC registered memory, so it's more stable, meaning that if someone with yer average shit grade Wal-Mart brand PC tries looking at the page it'll probably crash their entire system right off the bat. Having a 32bit OS vs a 64bit OS likely compounds the problem (since the former can't extend further than ~2 gigs of memory). But anyway, the bottom line is that it's horrifically over bloated with images and needs organizing, similar to the way I organized the FB page (although even that's not completely done as I still have to reorganize the original gallery into the new split form). --Onideus 03:21, 21 February 2013 (EST)

Article Is Now Organized!
Oooookay! I completely ripped all the galleries apart and then rebuilt them! And it only took EIGHT HOURS (straight)! :D
Now, there is a method to the seeming madness when it comes to organizing/categorizing, because you've got a lot of stuff that OVERLAPS categories. So, for that reason, I've got this nifty little "Order Of Importance" guide you can follow:
Memes > Disgusting & Disturbing > Animated > Drawings > Digital Editing > Costumes > Captions > General
Basically the first thing you do is ask yourself, "Is it a meme?" If it is, browse through the meme gallery and if there is ALREADY an image for that particular meme in it then DO NOT add another one! Instead GO TO the meme page itself and ADD IT THERE! If it's not a meme, the next question to ask yourself is, "Is it horribly disgusting and/or disturbing?" If yes, then put it in the Disgusting & Disturbing gallery. Next ask yourself, "Is it animated?" If yes, then put it in the animated section. You see how this works? Just follow along the guide from left to right and if it can't go in any of the main galleries then just stick it in the "General" gallery. Tres simple, non? --Onideus 11:33, 26 February 2013 (EST)

There should only be *ONE* image for each meme in the "Meme Gallery". JUST ONE! If there's MORE than just ONE, then stick it on the meme article WHERE IT BELONGS! Also be sure to include a LINK to the meme article if you put something into the "Meme Gallery".

As I was working through the gallery I noticed an unbelievable amount of outright *SHIT*! I mean...I don't know what the fuck whoever added all this was smokin when they did it, but holy Christmas clusterfuck what a gawd awful slop mess! Cats 'n Racks
I might make this into its own article or just add it to the present article when I get some moar stuffs for it (I have a gigantor folder somewhere). There actually used to be an ENTIRE website devoted to nothing but cats and breasts...not sure what happened to it. The titles of the sections can be changed around if someone doesn't like them the way they are. Like "fauxpics" could be changed to "photoshops". "Fauxpics" is just what I call them, mostly because I don't like giving credit to Adobe for every digital manipulation that's created. *shrugs* There's quite a few other names for them that could be used as well.

Proposal For Gallery Sub-Page Breakdown
I can no longer edit this article...at all. With the number of tabs I keep open at a time and the sheer Brobdingnagian volume of images it's basically an insta-browser-crash button on ED for myself and probably quite a number of others. At present there are approximately 62 new images sitting on the "working" page:

Obviously I'm not able to add them in and it seems no one else is taking the bother either. Gray used to do it but, well, he's gone now. Breaking the galleries apart onto sub-pages would solve the problem quite nicely though. Not all would have to be moved either, we could leave one or say a set of five for each category along with like a "more" button which would then bring the user to the sub-page with hundreds of related images in the present categories. I believe, at present, this article is actually ~the~ largest one on ED...at least image content wise. --Onideus 19:11, 7 October 2013 (EDT)

Okay, I split the lil hairy bitch all apart, which was a major gawd damn pain in the ass. The format isn't absolutely finalized or anything, it could be tweaked/altered a bit, like with the "See More" and the back button image. I mostly just wanted to get the basic form down which I think works pretty good.
Uh, I decided to leave the entirety of the "memes" gallery intact...partially out of laziness and partially because I think it makes a little more sense to have them all together in one spot, but if anyone thinks otherwise we can go ahead and split that one apart too.
On an UP-NOTE, the article no longer crashes the fuck out of your browser when trying to load! :D
