Ratchet & Clank (Also known as Michael Bay's Wet Dream) is a PS2 mascot shoot em' up platforming series by Insomniac Games where the "Objective" of every game is to make everything explode for no reason. it was so successful, Insomniac Games didn't learn from Spyro to not milk franchises really fast.

The Games

The Original Trilogy

Ratchet & Clank: the beginning of the first of many trilogies. Ratchet, a lombax trys to make a ship but ultimately fails because of a part that can't be found. Meanwhile a robot factory shits out clank and finds out by a media receiver made by The Donald that a evil dictator named Drek is making a super lazer to destroy every planet and artificialy make a new one because he couldn't stop his own pollution. The duo relie on Captain Quark who betrays them a few moments later. Ratchet kills Drek and fixes Clank. the game mostly revolves around going from point A to point B and getting shit along the way while blowing up anything that gets in your way.

tl;dr a furry and a robot have to stop a guy from destroying the universe

Ratchet & Clank 2: Going Comando/Locked And Loaded: the sequel. takes place a year after Ratchet 1. Ratchet and clank both become Fatasses because "Nobody Needs A Hero" when they suddenly get kidnapped By Mr.Fizzwigget because thier experiment, The "ProtoPet" has been stolen due to poor defenses. and hires Ratchet to get it back only to be taken by captain quark and mutates it while failing. ratchet beats it. everything goes back to normal.

Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal literally the exact same shit as the other games but with an even more failtastic villain
