Rantic Marketing

From Encyclopedia Dramatica

Findings of dedicated internet sleuths

Rantic Marketing is a self described social media marketing company that claims to have a hand in some of the most viral marketing campaigns and music videos on the interwebs. This is absolute horseshit though because the company has been ousted many times as a group of satire journalists that write false click-bait articles to stir up drama for ad revenue. Rantic has recently come into the public eye due to them being tied to a scandal involving the supposed release of Celebrity Emma Watson's nudes while trying to shift blame onto the infamous hacker 4chan.

Who Cares?

the previous landing page for emmayouarenext

Shortly before anyone gave a shit about Rantic, anons the world over were staring, dick in hand, at a countdown timer hosted at emmayouarenext.com (now redirects to Rantic.com) that supposedly was counting down to the release of Emma Watson's nudes. While any other time this may have been immediately dismissed as bullshit, this time around could have been legit in light of recent events. It wasn't until one anon pointed out that the apache server hosting the countdown timer was also hosting a site called Rantic.com, therefore both owned by the same person/people. Shortly after the discovery went public, the server was taken offline, leading everyone to believe the owners of Rantic were actively monitoring the threads.

Damage control

Shortly after anon started getting wise to their antics, Rantic went into full Damage Control mode and like many other SJW's before them, immediately shifted the blame onto Ebaumsworld. Next they put up a slideshow on the main page of their website telling people that 4chan needs to be shutdown to prevent more celebrity leaks citing this situation as a basis for censorship on the internet. They also included a pretty lulzy letter to the president too claiming they have been hired by numerous celebrity publicists to get a grip on all the hot celeb tits flying around the web as of late, along with more implications of how terrible 4chan is effectively informing people of what they already know.

Thanks Obama

Now What

No one knows, is it a troll? are they legit? is this just more clickbait dumbfuckery? you decide. The fact that the "Click To Send Letter To The White House" button on their Obama letter leads to a 404 strongly supports that this is most likely all just an elaborate troll
