Pottering is a meme that was created by a man who jumped from a window into a swimming pool while holding a broom between his legs. This created the illusion of him riding the broom. He posted a picture of him doing this to Facebook and it became popular with the help of a Reddit thread and a Facebook group named Public Pottering. To date the picture has received almost a million views.
