automobile accident. The car was loaded to the tits with morons and 
driven by an asshole that was loaded to the tits with alcohol. 
Thousands mourned the tree's demise, creating a Facebook page to 
celebrate the tree's purpose-filled life of removing CO2 from the air 
and removing life from the 5 retarded bogans. Friends of the demised 
tree-killers held a miniskirt-and-cigarette filled funeral. Oh yeah, 
this happened in January, oops.

Q: Did the owners always plan ED to be so associated with trolling?
A: Girlvinyl did not intend originally for ED to be a trollpedia. However, 
ED had a lot of basis in LJ Drama. Originally it could've been described as 
what would happen if LJ Drama fucked Wikipedia.

LJ Drama was largely run by trolls. In fact, Encyclopedia Dramatica's 
purpose has always been to catalogue internet drama. The site would expand
 in some other ways, but drama has been a constant.

For a while, ED was associated with Bantown. Many GNAA members, past and 
present, have been major contributors. The president of the GNAA, Andrew 
A. Weevlos, is still an influential sysop.

While GV did not originally intend it to be associated with trolling, the 
scope of the site implied this is what was to happen. Articles in the 
first week of ED included Almost Raped and Serious Business, laying 
the ground work for dramacrats everywhere.
