Encyclopedia Dramatica:Article of the Now/June 5, 2026
If you have spent more than 5 minutes here on Encyclopedia Dramatica, you might have noticed the influx of shitty low-effort articles, written by closeted future trannies, about unimportant mass shooters. This has caused an increase of more shitty articles, users, and posts to numerous factions of the site. These people usually come from TCC-centered communities, with some only associating the site with its articles about killers.
The True Crime Community (TCC) is a community full of edgy teens who idolize mass/serial killers. They can typically be found on TikTok or Tumblr, making Viggle.ai edits of perpetrators dancing next to text saying "-(their kill count)". Most mass shooters nowadays are TCC LARPers who do it just to get these edits. The High Score page has become the home for these filthy immigrants, becoming so popular it rivals the article made about Chris Chan. This has exposed the site to a cancer that has only increased as the years pass, with numerous users joining to contribute. The idea of the High Score page can fall under Meepsheep's Law, as it was originally meant to mock the perpetrators, but most recently has become a place for them to leave a lovingly made fan letter. This gravitation to Encyclopedia Dramatica comes from TCCfags and their need to get as much info on their favorite postal dude as possible, even if half the page is taken up with jokes about their penis.
What are some markings to look for when studying these creatures?:
- Continuous edits to one page that are just more shitfesto spergings
- Template:AlGore and Template:UserAlGore being applied to their pages and userpage - You being self-aware of your homosexuality doesn't make it better
- Unnecessary references in unrelated articles - "Wait, you're saying this guy drank Mountain Dew? OMG HE'S LIKE BRENTON TARRANT OMG HE DRANK THAT TOO"
