Video hosting on ED

Seeing deletion videos from youtube, that are using in ED articles, I suggest that ED owners should think about making video hosting on ED. It might be realised by allowing to upload files with definite extensions. If it leads to a lack of money, this feature will be disable. ICAN 10:01, 10 February 2015 (EST)

Cause from the few instances I've seen of people asking for help on something it just devolved into a spastic little slap fight between tards pissing all over themselves for imagined virtual dominance. I'd say it varies from user to user. Me personally, the wiki is my business, the forum my pleasure (although the two are interchangeable for me in that aspect). The forum is my social outlet where I share photos, opinions, and other personal shit. The wiki is where I write, maintain, and moderate the site for fun in my down time or when real life fails me.
There's also the fact that EDF is actually an offshoot of ED, so there are a handful of users there who don't have accounts on the wiki, and some who have never even been to it before. Vermin    14:06, 27 January 2015 (EST)

Error on Submitting

Hey, I dont know if I am the only one getting the following error after submiting something to an article, I leave it here:

Not sure if possible, but a handy feature would be an "anonymous editing" option, mostly for more volatile articles that tend to attract crazies and psychopaths. Speaking mostly about articles like this...

You obviously know very little about how crazies work. There are actually several different major types of spastic nuts jobs. Deletions on request

For posterity, I'd like to know if we're now deleting articles on request. We just recently had two articles get flushed because the subject of the articles asked for them to be removed, one of them in the form of public death threats on Twitter. All of the work the users put into those articles got flushed along with them.

Embedding Vimeo

Thanks to Endsenten, we can now embed Vimeo videos again.

The x's after the id are obviously for the video's ID in the url, and you can customize the height and width as needed. The standard YouTube embedded video size is width=425, height=330. It also works with Video of the Now. Vermin    14:49, 10 February 2015 (EST)

Sadly, no. I tell my irl friends and some of my coworkers about ED and invite them to join the forums to post along with me, but none of them are interested, or have even heard of ED for that matter.
I've managed to get one friend to view my user page before who found it to be amusing, but he's just a lurker on Reddit, so it was a one time visit sort of deal.

Another language?

Idk how hard will it be or how much would it cost but can we make ED in other languages? because I just gone into the Arabic Uncyclopedia and noticed the amount of pissed off over religious fags about their article about Islam and Muhammed.(almost reaching to the point of death threats) I can see many of our articles will cause huge streams of lulz if they are in other languages. Maybe Persian? Spanish or Arabic.

To remake an entire wiki in another language you need a HUGE userbase able to translate and maintain it. To give you an idea of how big ED is, the Crap Articles Category by itself has over 500 articles. We don't have enough people fixing stuff as it is (good god this place needs help with crosslinking and rewrites!) and that's just in the English wiki. Do you know a few hundred Russians/Spanyards/Jews/Ect willing to translate and make a second ED? I don't, either. For now just be happy we have Упячка. --3tails 00:53, 26 February 2015 (EST)
