Before making your first article look over ED:101. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being banned by ED Sysops.

We realize a lot of you are busy or may be new to ED, so here's just the most important info:

  • Read ED:101. Seriously. The information contained within is invaluable. Further tutorials of use can be found here.
  • To answer a message, reply on the user's talk page (Tab at the top that says 'discussion').
  • Sign your comments by using four tildes (like this ~~~~)
  • These are the sysops. If you have a problem, talk to them. They're here to help; we promise.
  • The TJC is the community portal. It's linked to from every page; just look at the top left of the page. Check it daily.
  • Use Special:Upload to upload pictures. Be sure to give them meaningful names. Also, do not upload any CP or Bestiality pr0n or you will be b&.

  • Your article seems to be taking shape but it needs more internets, links to forums/videos/blogs etc that highlight any of the subjects lulzy behaviour (if indeed there are any lulz to be had) should all be incorporated. I've been trying to upload more pictures and screen shots, but the uploader keeps giving me an error message. Autard 19:42, 24 November 2013 (EST)

I tried to upload pictures again and I got this message: "File extension does not match MIME type." The images I'm trying to upload are JPEG images, they are under 2MB so I don't know what the problem is. Autard 19:48, 24 November 2013 (EST)

Try: Click upload, Select file (the name will then appear in the field), copy/paste the file title (eg. If it says C:Autard/Pix/Screenshot1.png just copy Screenshot1.png) into the next field... Add a comment in the big box if you want and then click upload. Other than that, try opening the file in an editor and resaving it so that you know that the file type is correct. • Mr.Jonzz 19:53, 24 November 2013 (EST)
Sometimes this is caused by mismatching file extensions in the name of your local file and the name of the upload. I think it's case sensitive.   VX BREATHE DEEP   21:56, 24 November 2013 (EST)
