A prank is a mean spirited or malicious practical joke. Often times pranks are aimed towards authority figures or disliked peers. Pranks are often embarrassing or painful to the prankee, which can be extremely lulzy.

The election of Donald Trump was an extremely effective and lulzy 4chan prank.

AIDS
The Central Intelligence Agency of the United States orchestrated the excellent prank of weaponizing the meme known as AIDS. Not only did it completely troll the hell out of 95% of the nigger population, it also trolled 100% of the gays.

On April 20, 1999 Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris executed the best high school prank in history by totally trolling their schoolmates by shooting up the school.
Sandy Hook School Shooting
On December 14, 2012 Adam Lanza single handedly pulled off the best prank an Elementary school has ever seen.
The Nanking Massacre
The Nanking Massacre was a massively lulzy prank orchestrated by soldiers of the Imperial Japanese Army. Loot, secks, and lulz were had. This made the chinks severely butthurt.
