The king himself, Sally Jane Black

Letterboxd (A.K.A. IMDb 2: Electric Boogaloo), is a cancerous film website for the purposes of logging every single movie you've seen in a diary so all six of your followers can afford a modicum of attention to you for staring at pretty pictures on a screen and empathizing with fictional characters for 2 hours every day. Since the fall of IMDb, it has become the official refuge for Film Buffs around the internets to supposedly discuss and express their feelings for film, except Letterboxd is actually a thousand times worse than IMDb could hope to be. Part of that being that it's run by sheep fuckers who care more about adding a Gender Pronoun setting for profiles in memory of a rabid Mudslime shooting up a gay nightclub than actually running a functional website, another part due to it being infested with retarded 12 year old girls and transgender mental fuckups from Tumblr and Twitter. 90% of the popular reviews consist of some pseudo-intellectual's tl;dr diatribe over politics, or a slew of sickeningly unfunny illegible one-sentence non-reviews copypasted straight from Twatter. Letterboxd almost puts Redditors to shame.

Userbase

99.9% of Letterboxd users are too shitty and irrelevant to warrant mentioning in this article, so instead of giving a bunch of internet nobodies some 15 seconds of fame, here's a list of various denominations of Letterboxd's userbase instead.

How to trigger Letterboxd users

  • Leave a comment on some tranny's review that's remotely critical of their work for a guaranteed insta-block.
  • Give Carol a 1 star rating.
  • Post Sally Jane Black's picture anywhere else on the internet.
  • Tell them that there has never been a good female director in film history.
  • Mention the director D.W. Griffith in a positive light.
  • Say that Hacksaw Ridge deserved the Oscar over Moonlight.
  • Write a review about how "timely" an old film is and tie it into Donald Trump being the savior of Western society.
