Stuttgart residents had the scare of their lives believing they were a target of a chemical attack when firefighters arrived at their place in full biohazard suits. It turned out the workers were there to save a bedridden 350-pound man who has never seen water and had not cleansed himself for five years. They described the smell as ‘absolute hell’. The accumulated rubbish of pizza boxes, food and cans added to the stench, prompting rescue workers to wear gas masks and hazmat suits. Due this, residents of the place where the man lived thought that they were to become victims of a chemical attack.
