VKontakte AKA:'VK is Russia's shitty attempt at making another Facebook. So much of VK was modeled off of Facebook that if you took away its name, you would mistake it for Facebook. It was even made in PHP! Russians were obviously butthurt about not being able to use Facebook, so they made their own version, but with a shittier system and a crappier userbase. Unlike Facebook where you can view someone's profile without being a member, VK forces you to sign up so they can spam you with emails.

The owner is Boris Dobrodeyev, some guy who already looks like a cuck the second you look at his picture.
