Welcome, Elvenite

This is serious. READ IT.

Before making your first article look over ED:101. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being banned by ED Sysops.

We realize a lot of you are busy or may be new to ED, so here's just the most important info:

  • Read ED:101. Seriously. The information contained within is invaluable. Further tutorials of use can be found here.
  • To answer a message, reply on the user's talk page (Tab at the top that says 'discussion').
  • Sign your comments by using four tildes (like this ~~~~)
  • These are the sysops. If you have a problem, talk to them. They're here to help; we promise.
  • The TJC is the community portal. It's linked to from every page; just look at the top left of the page. Check it daily.
  • Use Special:Upload to upload pictures. Be sure to give them meaningful names. Also, do not upload any CP or Bestiality pr0n or you will be b&.

Hu1

Do you have any idea about why Aurvandil desysopped Hu1? Did he meant to desysop Basileus (recently blocked) but accidentally desysopped Hu1 instead? It's hard to figure out since Aurvandil didn't leave any messages for Hu1 or revert any of Hu1's revisions. --JuniusThaddeus 20:54, 13 November 2014 (EST)

Thanks for the information. Can you please add what you know about the incident to the Hu1 article? The article is too short, and it needs more details. --JuniusThaddeus 21:39, 13 November 2014 (EST)
Thanks for expanding the article. --JuniusThaddeus 14:55, 14 November 2014 (EST)

RE: Basileus gone

Nice work, although Aurvandil only deleted two articles (the ones you linked), not all of them. You probably should've provided a link to "Category:Wikipedia". Most of the articles in that category were written by Basileus. Nevertheless, you obtained great results, and you should be proud of what you accomplished. Thanks. --JuniusThaddeus 20:34, 22 November 2014 (EST)

Several more articles deleted. Nice work. "A Wyatt Man" is aware of this conservation (Hi, Wyatt Man), but it hardly matters. A Wyatt Man is apparently a fan or avid reader of ED, and he advocates giving Encyclopedia Dramatica as few reasons as possible to document events going on at Metapedia:

"In conclusion, I think the job one does at the English Metapedia relates to how much of it shows up in Encyclopedia Dramatica. Anything added to that site is a bad sign and we should strive to keep Encyclopedia Dramatica from documenting anything else."

In other words, they're open to reversing sysop actions that ED users criticize, and they're open to getting rid of articles that ED users believe shouldn't be on Metapedia. Continue your work in comfort.--JuniusThaddeus 20:00, 23 November 2014 (EST)
There's going to be articles that can't or won't be deleted, but making some progress is better than making none at all. We've already made a big impact. --JuniusThaddeus 23:20, 23 November 2014 (EST)

Great. Mission accomplished. I don't believe that we have to worry about "keyboard warriors". People aren't going to attack ED for Mikemikev's sake. Taking a break and perhaps moving on to something else is a good idea. You've been at this for over a year now, and I don't believe that another month of victories such as November 2014 will happen again. What comes after having Basileus permabanned and having his articles deleted? I can't think of anything. There probably isn't anything more to accomplish at Metapedia. Now is perhaps the best time to ride off into the sunset. One last word of advice: Mikemikev is a dead end. There isn't anything more that can be done about him; that fish was fried last year. It's probably best to stop worrying about him and move on to bigger and better things. --JuniusThaddeus 09:12, 29 November 2014 (EST)

Yeah, you tell him. I'm gonna slide a long knife right into this screwhead's gut and look him the eye while I'm doing it. WhaleHunter 09:20, 29 November 2014 (EST) (USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)
