A few pet gripes about Grey's edit

Chopping 1,000 odd words from a page doesn't seem like a minor edit, personally. While I suppose his edit did tighten the page up a bit, and removed excess bolding, a few mistakes and omissions were introduced: The Machine must always be capitalised, for a start. Also, I do feel it's important to mention how the show makes a big deal out of the fact Finch invented all modern social media as a means to obtain information on people they wouldn't otherwise provide. This section was completely removed. Also, I'm not sure I agree with merging the Lie to Me reference with the intro. But that said, it does tighten it up a bit. So it's probably best left alone. When I get access to my PC, I might look at fix this without bloating out the page.

Oh, yea, and the 'a ex-agent' typo wasn't fixed. I should fix that...--Ambient Malice 22:05, 17 February 2013 (EST)

Sorry, I haven't seen the show, I thought those were just bad jokes. I'll re-capitalize THE MACHINE and re-add the Social Media thing. -Gray 22:10, 17 February 2013 (EST)

It's okay, man. I know you're just trying to do what's best for ED. And looking at it objectively, the way you tightened up the page is for the best. It can be very difficult to tell the difference between a meme/genuine, if snarky, reference, and someone making an irrelevant joke. I'm thinking The Machine (or the Machine) would be better than THE MACHINE, which can come across as forced..--Ambient Malice 22:17, 17 February 2013 (EST)
