ownership controversy

Should we add a section about this? the guy who made http://nyan.cat repeatedly makes claims that he was the one to make it famous and even plans to release it under a CC license http://huyhong.com/post/4930637108/so-tremendously-humbled-thank-you I'm sure a few other sites/people have used it and not cited reference and using it as a claim to fame. definitely seen PRguitarman make a few back and forths with him on twitter.
