Strongly disagree with RapeMan. There is absolutely nothing worth mentioning about the show itself, and especially no drama. It's just a mediocre cartoon for girls. But this article remains a complete shit-fest, and that's because there are so many people with different opinions editing it that it cannot focus on making any real point. The difference between furries and ponyfags here is that while furfags may get overly butthurt and blank ED pages once in a while, people who like My Little Pony, whether for ironic purposes or not, are more interested in being "part of the fun" than defending what they see as a harmless pastime. Hence the page is flooded with memes, image macros and copypasta, and while it complains about the show fandom taking over every part of the internet, it does nothing to suggest that ED should be able to rise above that. … Maybe that's the joke? A visual representation of everything that is wrong about it, similar to the old page on Anarchy? If that were the case though, I would hope to get some sense of bitterness from the article, but instead it seems like the editors are having the time of their life spraying the faggotry everywhere it can go.

So what do I suggest? Re-write the entire article from scratch, even if it isn't lulz at first. Establish a tone, have sections devoted to why this is a bad thing that don't devolve into weak arguments like "MEN WATCHING A GIRLS' SHOW IS GAY", because the targets have already learned to completely shut out that shit from their attention, and in any case are perfectly capable of inflicting shame and depression upon themselves whenever they get the chance to reflect on their reality. It only makes them withstand your hate more if you look like a complete moron while arguing. Discuss the "Brony psychology"; explain why they are horrible people for obsessing over the show, and try to go into more specifics than that /b/tard quote that was on here a while ago. Asperger's, hipsterism and social insecurity play their parts with various members of the fandom, but somehow they all manage to blend into the same shitposting asshole at the end of the day, craving fanart, fapfiction, attention to their own crappy contributions, and above all, anything to give their fandom some sense of identity. This is why so often anyone who creates something as typical or mundane as a macro, comic or Flash animation about the show/fans will be instantly be heralded as a saint of the fandom, spawning dozens of forced memes: "cupcakes"; "ON THE MOON BEEYETCH"; "candy vag"; the entire "Derpy" fanon … it gets worse when the jokes they basically end up claiming as their own hallmarks have been stolen from completely unrelated sources; for example some pony-related spin-off of the Moonbase Alpha YouTube vidya has nearly surpassed the original in the number of views, and it's now a *hilarious in-joke* to reference any of the dialogue among ponyfags.

This is, of course, still only discussing the fans who do see the show's general discussion as this big hilarious in-joke; the people who go and get emotionally attached to the characters and stories really are a worry, but I think that's fucking enough article fodder for now.
