To those wondering, there is a "microphone" in Maplestory.
It is actually a "super megaphone" that allows you to broadcast your speech to the entire world you are in.

Complete Article Rewrite
I'm thinking about doing this. Most of the present article is severely out of date by over five years. Most of what's in the article presently isn't even in the game anymore or it's been completely revamped since "big bang". And there's tons of stuff that it doesn't even cover. It doesn't even go into details about Maplestory 2, which is already in beta. Turns out it's basically a Minecraft ripoff. --U Mad Bro 21:56, 19 February 2015 (EST)
