Stop Killing Games
The Stop Killing Games initiative is a movement by European and British Gamers for video game companies to stop killing their video games. This is maybe the third time US GAMERS HAVE RISEN UP but maybe this time it'll finally work.

General Premise
OK so when you buy a video game, you expect to be able to keep playing it forever, right? Well some games can be shut down by the developer, and the $60 you spent on it went down the drain. It wouldn't be so bad if maybe the game said "this game will remain active for at least 5 years from purchase date", or maybe the price is reduced by a certain amount for the fact that it's an impermanent game. But you aren't given that option, so the Stop Killing Games initiative aims to get the official EU government to enforce gaming companies to maybe kinda provide that disclaimer, perhaps?
HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!
Pirate Software's Jason 'Thor' Hall actually thinks this is a bad idea because it's ass. He said it, we believe it, end of story! Afterall, Thor is an accomplished member of the game developer community, having released... [reads notes] zero whole games, which he spent... [reads notes] eight years to make. Truly his words are to be the thunderous impact of logic and credibility that will shake the soul of any TRUE GAMER.
How to ACTUALLY Make Corporations Listen
Stop buying their slop. If it says "live service" or "internet connection needed", stop, get some help.
