Melinda Lyons-Marquez

In October 2014, modern bootlegger Melinda Lyons-Marquez was arrested (archive) for selling alcohol in a dry county. When Fox 16 News attempted to report the story on Facebook, they posted Lyons-Marquez's mugshot without providing a name or any sort of context (archive), leaving imaginative basement dwellers to their own devices, which turned out to be Photoshop and time. What followed was a series of shoops by narcissistic Facebook users who hoped to validate their existence with likes and praise for their alleged cleverness.
