The 2017 Saint Petersburg Metro bombing was a terrorist attack conducted by a "Central Asian" man in a suicide attack on a crowded train in Saint Petersburg. Nine were killed instantly, a further two died later with an additional 45 injured. At this point we can only speculate what the motive was.
