Laird is a troll and crank who Rome Viharo invited from the pseudoscience forum Skeptiko to spam his RationalWiki article's talk page in an attempt to try to get it deleted. He joined RationalWiki in January 2014 posting walls of text on Viharo's article talk; this was part of Viharo's strategy to invite members from Skeptiko to flood his article talk with rants and troll the talk page in an attempt to get it deleted.[1] After this failed, Laird was inactive on RationalWiki for over a year, but returned in April 2015 when he unsuccessfully again tried to delete or whitewash Rome Viharo's article.
