Nah, you're good. In fact, saw the advice you posted, will make sure to keep it in mind. I'm better at some things than others, so I've been focusing most of my time trying to find wanted images and cleaning up thumbnails, posting welcome templates to new users, flushing spam....janitorial background stuff mostly. I apparently am not as good at most of the "handling editors" parts of being a sysop, so I'm glad you'd be willing to resume being an sysop (in that area, you would be better than me). Hopefully you will continue to help new users because that has the biggest impact on the future of Encylopedia Dramatica. As for "not as good" don't worry about it. I had a community I ran for 5 years and spent 3 years doing tech support from home. So maybe think of yourself as tech support instead of an administrator. In fact, the only real difference between an editor and administrator is you can swing the ban hammer if it is absolutely necessary. In other words nothing has changed really. We're just here having fun. And when I say you can ask me anything, I mean it. If you think you might need to say something to someone but are unsure, you can drop me a note. My only piece of advice is to never threaten disciplinary action. I've read the comments, and they are indeed illuminating. At the same time, while the arguments are interesting from a detached perspective, anyone who argues for child-child/adult-child sexual activity without legal interference is opening a Pandora's Box that would essentially enable those who would rape children to get away with anything, and I vehemently disagree that children don't need to be protected against certain subjects until a certain age as much as possible. I can respect he stands by his convictions and reacted calmly and without acting like a lolcow in response to this article (and plan to note that in the article as an example all other people ED has an article should seek to emulate), and his honesty is appreciated even if his views are disgusting, but regardless, I'm writing the article in question as I see fit, subject to modification by anyone else here on ED. Banning

Just a heads up. When you ban someone make sure you go to Special:Blocklist immediately afterward and unban the IP number of the user, for some reason shit is fucked up and banning every user whenever a user is banned, subsequently showing all users the block page and the IP of the banned user. Not really, that is pretty effective, unless you somehow find a new exit node they haven't managed to block yet. Try using IPfuck or some other kind of IP spoofer, a lot will be banned because some are proxies, but some are legit IPs that will pass inspection (a lot of Ipv6 addresses will be good to use, since there are LOT more of those you can spoof as instead of IPv4).
