Burt Reynolds (February 11, 1936 - September 6, 2018) was a man among men capable of even making the Gaystash worn by people like Freddy Mercury and the biker dude from The Village People masculine. If not for him, the 1977 Pontiac Trans-Am Firebird or more popularly known as the Screaming Chicken because of the decal on the hood, would not be an iconic American car thanks to his Smokie and the Bandit movies.
Although he may have been born in Lansing, Michigan, this can be easily forgiven because he played fullback up until his Sophmore year, for Florida University.
He is probably best known for his Smokey and the Bandit Series, The best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Gator Series and Boogie Nights. He will be missed because for some of us, he was our example of what it meant to be a man.
