Egoraptor trying his best to recreate one of his cartoons

Game Grumps is a Youtube comedy channel born out of the duo of Egoraptor, a manchild reminiscent of a post-surgery Michael Jackson, who is famed for making cartoons, and his fat lummox accomplice, Jon Tron, who himself is famed for his own youtube channel, whose comedic style relies heavily on spastic editing rather than actual talent.

Game Grumps uploads videos daily, and carries with it many characteristics and features of a Let's Play video series on Youtube, however, the two have stated, numerous times, that none of their series are of the Let's Play variety. This is likely to be a desperate attempt to escape the stigmatization and pigeonholing that many Let's Players seem to face (although, their posturing may evade the style of Let's Play, the crushing stupidity of their actual content does not).

The main function of the Game Grumps channel is to supply fodder for various works of marvelous art. In just over a month since the channel's creation, fans have created many works of art, shipping the two in any and every way way possible.

Opinions

As well as being a haven for shippers, Game Grumps has also proven to be a bastion of controversial opinion. Jon Tron, in particular, has seen it fit to unload all of his legitimate opinions on video; these include his shameless enjoyment of Nickelback, and questionable appreciation of Charlie Sheen and Dane Cook. He also has been found to find faults in the most insignificant things and proceed to bitch about them for 10 minutes. Following a slew of Youtube users questioning Jon's intelligence, Jon Tron has claimed that he isn't stupid, and that he's only acting. However, what he fails to realize is that people don't think he's stupid because of his schtick, but because of the aforementioned; not to imply that the evidence of his ineptitude is not already copious.

The question of whether or not Game Grumps is supposed to be funny still remains. While the two spend the duration of their videos giggling like a pack of trampled hyenas, our team of experts here at ED have not yet been able to unravel the mystery-- what the fuck is so funny? Our experts report : "we're not even sure that the laughs are legitimate or that they're just laughing at each other's poor jokes out of politeness."

Their comedic styles are extensive and can range from observational, to non sequitur humor. And, uh.... that's about it really.

Now, while observational humor is usually considered high brow, in the duo's hands this humor can be mistaken for unkempt, ugly eyebrows that resemble a Russian pensioner's snatch. To put that visually, look to the right.

Our team of experts have dubbed this formula the "just go back to school and get a proper job, this comedy thing isn't really working out for the two of you" constant.

To give the formula context:

"Oh hey, doesn't X look like Y", and referring to our formula posting above, where X clearly does not equal Y, the two still laugh hysterically.

The Charm

As mentioned earlier, the two are partial to non sequitur style humor. In this style, the duo have attempted to coin their own meme-- seven asses, which was born out of the following context :

Egoraptor : "How much ass do you think Megaman gets?"

Jon Tron : "1,2,3,4,5,6...7; seven asses."

The hilarity of this exchange speaks for itself.

Of course, their fans have committed themselves to spamming various websites, including /v/, in an attempt to make this meme widespread. Fortunately, it never took off, as forced memes never do. Unless of course, Reddit gets a hold of them.

Drugs

The two have been accused of being under the influence while recording, however the two have outright denied these claims during their Mega Man 7 series. And we totally believe them.

Other than Jontron's aforementioned qualities, he has also has one other trick up his sleeve-- being eastern-european, you'd say he certainly puts the hung in Hungarian. And I don't mean cock, oh no.

Sometimes he needs something dastardly and sinful to abate his Transylvania tremors in the nether-- when the moon is high in the sky, his lust can only be put to rest by giving his friends' significant other a facial. How do we know it was Jontron? Well-- for one, everyone knows that no human could possibly cum that much, only a gypsy could account for such a load. Secondly, when JonTron was confronted via twitter about his problem, he, not long after an unconvincing denial, went ahead and deleted fucking everything off his twitter account. You can chalk this up to the impulsiveness of one very guilty gypsy.
