It began when feminists and [[whiteknight|whiteknights]], prompted by the blog [[Shutdown4chan]] went to /b/ and started [[shitpost|shitposting]] about [[feminist|feminism]]. 4chan would later respond by posting [[Trigger_Warning|triggering]] content such as gore, porn and rape to tumblr's most popular tags, including #feminism and [[Fat_Acceptance_Movement|#fatacceptance]].
It started when in response to the troll blog [[Shutdown4chan]] feminists went on /b/ and began [[shitposting]] about, feminism, (duh,) in droves. This resulted in thier being banhammered and the hornets nest that is /b/ retaliting, reminst of [[operation Overlord]]. Tags for socail justice warriors, fandoms, and even everyday shit were spaammed with gore porn rape, and worse in a successful attempt to decimate tumblr.
