Johanna Herrstedt

Johanna Herrstedt is a Swedish blogger whose only claim to e-fame is photoshopping herself to an absurd extent that was almost believable until she decided to star in Kerbera's music video, "Ghost Town", where her appearance revealed that she looked nothing like her edited selfies. Up until that point though, she had been arrogantly claiming that all she did was “basic editing” and that it was impossible to edit instagram videos (which we can now see were either edited or her taking advantage of camera angles).

She is hardly a person of note otherwise. Her sole purpose online was to post her edited selfies or post soundbites about self love, sex, Skyrim (perhaps the only video game she plays anymore), and humor that doesn't pertain to anything. There was also a period of time during early 2014 where she was replying defensively to criticism of her photoshop and behavior.

History

Johanna has been active since 2008, her old haunting grounds the now deactivated Dailybooth. Though it’s been reported she had been using photoshop on her photos at the time, one must question when she started photoshopping herself into a completely different person. What can be determined from her old photos is that her photoshop metamorphosis started as late as 2011:

This means that Johanna has been photoshopping herself for at least 4 years.

The Candid Photo

Prior to the Big Reveal of Johanna's unedited self gracing the internet, someone found a candid of Johanna that was promptly posted to the internet for all to see.

It wasn't much, but it was enough for people to lose their shit over, including Johanna herself who promptly made this post:

This post was gone so fast that her VK fanbase didn't even have enough time to copy/paste it to their wall.

After she made this post, her next task was to deride the person who uploaded it:

She then went directly to the person to try and defend herself:

You'd think it'd stop there, but she also took this shit to Twitter:

Off and on Johanna has been under fire for posting thinspo online and has reacted to said criticism by saying it's discriminatory (becuz thin people get so much hate for being skinny, rite?) Thus she has often held off from posting anything too obvious lest she incite the rage of da haturz (who she repeatedly feels the need to deride to prove that she doesn't care about them). Still, you'll see her turtlenecking to get dem neck cords to tense, all the while claiming that her neck just naturally does that. In any case, here's a gallery of her not-thinspo images:

Kerbera's Music Video

Several months prior to the video’s release, Kerbera released the album cover with a teaser of the song.

Because it was a closeup of Johanna's face, it seemed likely that it was a photo/selfie takeb by herself. A point which was actually brought up in the comments section of her IG, where she uploaded the cover:

Due to the butthurt of one of the bandmembers and the fact that the image has all of Johanna's typical edits, it can be safely assumed that the image was taken and edited by Johanna herself.
