A software crack (pirated software, or just crack) is a file that contains or modifies software to get around restricted access or features otherwise necessary, whether it's a video game or desktop application, you can get it for free off the internet without having to pay a single jew! Some cracks exist purely to exploit or fuck up your computer by introducing malware into your operating system to mine crypto, or system32 your ass. Especially using Microcock Windows. Other cracks are legitimate and actually contain working programs or useful information, but these are eventually taken down by the sigh-bear police who patrol the internets for pirated content; unless it's decentralized, websites like The Pirate Bay, LimeTorrents, and 1337x are common places for software cracks that wondrously can't be shut down by the van because of decentralization. You can either torrent these files (decentralized), or download them regularly off a file-hosting website (centralized). Stick to torrents if you want downloads to last.
