Hey You!
I'm glad I've got your attention.

Instant Template Construction Kit

So, you're a failure at everything and want to make another stupid template to diss another weak editor. For once in your life, do something positive and constructive and don't litter the Template namespace with more crap... Just make your own insta-template box of grief!

Let's get started!

Does that look like a box or question mark in the place where you type the name of the template? If so, you probably don't have Japanese fonts installed on your machine.

Anyway, this pulls up a standard little box with the default message. It's the same thing you see at the top of the page. Let's add a message!

lulz! Look at the balls on that Tanuki!

Awesome!

A Word Of Advice

We suggest keeping it simple.
Some things will spectacularly fail unless you take bizarre precautions, especially pipes, equals signs, and rainbow templates.

I want to replace the picture of the squirrel with the big balls.

Sounds fair. Here's a quick and dirty syntax guide to the parameters, which must be specified in order:

 1. Message
 2. Image Filename
 3. Image Width
 4. Box Color
 5. Box Width
 6. Image Border Style (CSS e.g. |4px solid Blue|, or 0px for no border)
 7. Box Border Style
 8. Space Between Box Border and Box Contents
 9. Optional Styling For Image Area

The first 3 deal with content, the last 6 deal with appearance. Every parameter is optional, so you can stop with as little as a Message and Imagename if you want. The widths can be in percent of pixels, and colors can be names or hex triplets.

More examples!!!

... paste it in your victim's talk page, and hit preview. Instant putdown!

This user is dumb!

Here's a practical example for articles that are funny in spite of being a completely true story.

This article is entirely factual.
Fact Cat knows this because of his learnings.

Rock On!

If you must do multiline stuff, explicitly number the parameters. Note that if you need to use an equals sign ("=") for a URL or styles, you'll also need to explicitly number your parameters.

(Yes TOW has a workaround where they use , a template that only contains the pipe character, but that's just getting ridiculous you could just throw something together in HTML rather than abuse this template further.)

FACT ALERT:

John Locke will fuck up your shit.

The <div>'s and alignment in this example gets around the default centering of the text.

What if there's a space between the image border and the image?

If you've got an image border enabled next to a tall message, then just set the ninth parameter to match the border color, something like "background-color:Black;"

What's With The Japanese Character?

The name, 天, is merely to discourage its use among the unlulzy and the weak. In theory, Homosexual Akuma will kick their ass for using it before they are ready. If you don't see a Japanese character, then you are probably missing fonts on your computer. I don't care.
