¶Bioshock Infinite is a first person shooter game with rpg elements for xbox and pc. While first person shooters are normally geared to be sold to males, the developer (Irrational Games) discovered when they put out Bioshock 1/2 that women really like playing and talking about first person shooters if the game rewards you for protecting women and little girls. They also saw that now the more females play and talk about games, the more those games will be bought by men. The Bioshock Universe involves multiple dimensions, time travel, super powers, and the story is intentionally complex, designed to make people want to talk about it (see also: Kingdom Hearts, Inception). Similar to its prequels, Bioshock Infinite's story incorporates a reason why a city background does not have to be rendered, allowing them to have the game still run fast and allows them to put more attention to detail in things people normally look at closely at in video games, like faces. | |||
