Even your parents had a battlestation and were kicking ASCII. Wait, is that your mom or dad?

Battlestation is a term used to inflate the egos of gamers by glorifying their desktop computer setup. They consider themselves to be members of the PC master race, looking down on unworthy console peasants, a lower class of people who have the nerve to think they're gamers just because they own an Xbox, Play Station or Wii.

Those who wish to acquire bragging rights on 4chan and gaming sites better to back it up with some serious hardware. Laptops will never be a part of a legitimate battlestation, no exceptions. Mac users can just GTFO, Apple's customization options are laughable, so congratulations paying a premium and still being a measly peasant.

The best PC tower money can buy with lots of RAM and a screaming graphics card is a must. Don't forget to grab a professional gaming keyboard and at least two gigantic displays. And no battlestation is complete without a chair so comfortable that a big-name CEO would want to stop by for a visit.

Claiming to be a member of the PC master race with anything less carries a mandatory sentence of public execution by disembowelment, newb!

Supremacy on the battlefield

Once someone is the proud owner of a battlestation, console peasants will get jealous as they are ruthlessly mowed down on the battlefield. Smile with pleasure as they accuse you of cheating.

Even amongst the titans, one's supremacy will definitely be challenged. The only determining factor about which setup is the baddest is the number and size of displays being used, nothing else will ever be agreed upon. Remember that. Be warned that a hotly debated question amongst battlestation owners is what's most important, the keyboard or display? There is no right answer but pick a side and be prepared to defend yourself.

And no matter what, never participate in spineless Reddit discussions that encourage weakness by prohibiting debates and personal attacks. You're got the best battlestation and are going to tell everyone about it!

So if you're ready to smack console peasants around in Call of Duty, then it's time to build the best battlestation known to mankind. Or even better, why not go for the ultimate high score?
