Chris Chan's "Copyright"
If someone really wanted to they could have the U.S. Copyright Office throw out Chris's copyright claim over Sonichu under the basis that it's not an original work, but rather a derivative work. You cannot copyright derivative works with the U.S. Copyright Office. On the whole it wouldn't much matter of course, but it would likely make Chris spaz out considerably, especially since his $45 filing fee wouldn't be refunded. :3

DMCA Response Example
I get sent DMCA take-down notices pretty often, this is the way I usually handle them: http://www.retardedmail.com/Candace_Stewart_DENIED.png
I also usually link to this: http://www.retardedmail.com/Fair_Use.png
Great lulz can be had in selectively targeting furries and DA kiddies who are most prone to screaming "ART THEFT!". Putting their work up on your own domains, or on ED and mocking the shit out of them (or claiming someone else made them), they'll often go spastic and start screaming nonsense about LOLsuits and calling the Internets police and so forth. Trolling these sorts of retards isn't just funny, it's also of great benefit to them, in order to educate them on how the real world actually works and to help realign them with reality. Trolling should never be just about the lulz, it should also be about education...the harshest, most bitch slapping version of it that can be produced, preferably forcefully shoved down the target's throat with a two by four so that they can serve as a shining billboard of how NOT to be on teh Internets. --Onideus 18:47, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
