Mr. Goodlife is a meme that was spawned from the cancer that is /b/. Originally posted as a when you see it thread, Mr. Goodlife, or Mr. Coolguy, as he is sometimes called, took /b/ by storm when a bunch of faggots started shooping him into other pictures. The intention of Mr. Goodlife is to have a guy that is so cool that he is unaffected in any situation.

Unbeknownst to the newfags creating this meme, another meme was also born in the process. Titled He Was There, this meme involved placing Mr. Goodlife, or Carl... let's call him Carl, in historic or fucked up/funny/random situations, and captioning it with "He Was There."
