The colored link template is a way to make colored links for template or user page making.
Template Usage
# | input |
---|---|
1 | internal link |
2 | color |
3 | alt text (optional) |
{{Colored link (internal)|Template:Colored link (internal)|hotpink}} and
{{Cli|Template:Colored link (internal)|hotpink|Colored link (internal) (template)}}
returns Template:Colored link (internal) and
Colored link (internal) (template).
Known aliases are {{Colored link}} and {{Cli}}
Entering a non existing link would cause this:
ERROR: The page MediaWiki:Existential crisis does not exist, please input an existing ED page, dumbass.
Although entering an incorrect link would usually request it on the Wanted Pages list, the failsafe makes sure it doesnt using a linkless #ifexist system.
Interwiki links such as T:Cli (templates) and U:TabbyGarf (user pages) will not work as an internal link and return the error message.
