Found this interesting bit of history regarding the Wilkins family
The Wilkins were an actual family and the company was passed down from father to son. Wilkins Jr. also was a founder of some then-huge company involved on making instant coffee and was associated with the Rockefellers before being sold to MinuteMaid which in turn was acquired by Coca-Cola.
