Jennifer Livingston (aka The Fat News Lady) is an obesely overweight newswoman whose skin is thick with adipocytes filled with an excessive amount of saturated fatty acids in triglyceride form.

Summary

Jenny pushed herself into recent media fame when she opted to make a public target out of a viewer (Kenneth W. Krause) who sent her a private e-mail out of concern the health of her and impressionable young girls. She attempted to shift some blame over airing a private e-mail by having her husband start the shitstorm.

With October being "Bullying Awareness Month" (Breast Cancer has company), this retort was shown alongside videos of elementary school boys getting assaulted by multiple boys on a bus, because that's totally the same thing.

Livingston seems to ignore that when young girls get bullied by a single bully, it is usually in a place where the viewing is public so that it can turn into a public embarassment. Bullies rarely write polite e-mails. Fat children also are usually more excusable as they don't control the food brought into the home, and lack the education regarding diet and fitness that adults (and you would think news anchors especially) would have access to.

She also had to identify with mothers everywhere by pointing out that she feared her own kids getting bullied. This was overlooking the fact that they were actually pretty active (unlike her who, in spite of claims, just stands around watching them push her car) and that Krause rightly espoused that if she led by example to be thin, and they were also thin, that they would not be bullied (or suffer inherently health problems with obesity).

After her husband posted the e-mail (not a cover, either your husband snoops through your mail, which should enrage you, or you showed it to him) to the news station's facebook page (since removed) she then attacked the guy on air, rather than simply replying to him via e-mail, deciding to make a drama-storm about it to help her career, and paint herself as a hero by being an anti-bullying advocate (easier than being an anti-obesity advocate).

With the public against him, the heroic viewer finally deigned to give an apology. He revealed that he had been fat as a young boy and understood what kids went through, but that unlike her, he actually puts forth an effort to remain fit.

Surely you don't consider yourself a suitable example for this community's young people, girls in particular. 	“	Those of us in the media get a healthy dose of critique from our viewers here and we realize it comes with having a job in the public eye. But THIS e-mail was MORE than that. While I tried my best to laugh off the very hurtful attack on my appearance, my colleagues could not do the same, especially my HASUBANDO, our 6 and 10 anchor, Mike Thompson. Mike posted this e-mail on his WKTV facebook page, and what happened next has been truly INSPIRING. Hundreds and HUNDREDS of people have taken time out of their day to not only lift my spirits, but to take a stand that ATTACKS like THIS are NOT okay. Now we're gonna have more on that in just a second, but first, the truth is, I am overweight. You can call me fat, and yes, even obese, on a doctor's chart. But to the person who wrote me that letter, do you think I don't KNOW that? That your cruel words are pointing out something that I don't see? You don't know me, you are not a friend of mine. You are not a part of my family and you have admitted that you don't watch this show. So you know NOTHING about me but what you see on the outside, and I am much more than a number on a scale! Here is where I want us to learn something from this, if you didn't already know, October is National Anti-Bullying Month, and this is a problem that is growing EVERY DAY in our schools and on the INTERNET. It is a major issue in the lives of young people today and as A MOTHER OF THREE YOUNG GIRLS, it scares me to DEATH. Now I am a grown woman, and luckily for me, I have a very thick skin, literally as that e-mail pointed out, and otherwise, and that man's words mean NOTHING to me. But what really ANGERS me about this is there are CHILDREN who don't know better, who get e-mails as critical as the one I received or in many cases, even worse, each and every day. The Internet has become a WEAPON! Our schools have become a battleground and this behaviour is learned! It is passed down from people like the man who wrote me that e-mail! If you are at home, and you are talking about THE FAT NEWS LADY, guess what? Your CHILDREN are probably going to go to school and call someone fat! We need to teach our kids how to be kind, not critical, and we need to do that by example. So many of you have come to my defense over the past 4 days. I am literally overwhelmed by your words (and fat). Too my colleagues and my friends from today and from years ago, my family, my amazing family and so many of you out there that I will probably never have the opportunity to meet, I will never be able to thank you enough for your words of support, and for taking a stands against THIS BULLY. We are BETTER than that e-mail. We are better than THE BULLIES who would try to take us down, and I leave you with this: to all of THE CHILDREN out there who feel lost, who are struggling with your weight, with the color of your skin, with your sexual preference, with your disability, even the acne on your face: Listen to me right now! 	“	Jennifer was not bullied. She and her husband are big opportunists. Her husband is the skenky one and the biggest loser. Another man writes a private (solicited opinion via the TV stations email set up specifically for that) email to his wife and says her fat is not a good idea as a role model. Husband can’t stand to be married to a fat woman and for an alpha male to tell HIM that indirectly, he goes after Krause via facebook. The chicken-hearted little wussy snake husband of Jennifer does this under the “guise” of protecting her. He stabbed her in the back just to meet his own needs. This was entirely selfish on his part. That is what a “savior complex” will buy you. He wasn’t trying to protect Jennifer, he was defending his wounded ego. “How dare a man tell me that I am married to a fat pig?” For years his wife piled on the weight. She didn’t love herself or him and he couldn’t motivate her. An outside male kicked him in the nuts and he whined all the way to the TV station, all done while hiding behind Jennifer. What a scum!! The Livingstons took this public. “IF” it was all about protecting Jennifer and helping children as they claim, there would never have been any mention of Kenneth Krause’s name. They wouldn’t have validated him and they wouldn’t have attacked him. This going public is really about a wussy man’s wounded ego being hurt. Both Jennifer and her wussy husband are extremely insecure and have deep character flaws. Cant’ “body shame” or even “shame” someone without that person’s permission. Krause’s email, unkind but true and solicited via the email set up for that exact purpose. Jennifer, not only overly sensitive but also manipulative stemming from her denial and her unwillingness to be accountable.
