Every fucking video you upload is processed and rerendered into 480p quality, and depending on the original file format, the sound also sound like [[shit]] most of the time as well. Also it's a coin-flip whether or not you'll actually be able to play a video, especially if it's an older one.  One day it'll play normally, and the next day you'll be staring at the page for like an hour or more as the video gets stuck buffering it.

When BitChute first started, they had a status of how well they were doing via donations from SubscribeStar (basically another Patreon escept it's crypto friendly). It took them a year and a half to two years to reach one of their top goal of upgraded servers, but as far as anyone can tell, there doesn't seem to be anything different outside of uploads processing quicker.

On December 13th 2022, BitChute posted online that they were running into financial troubles; specifically that the banks were fucking with them, and what's worse, it wasn't the first time it happened.
