Boybuddy AKA Bobby Hendrix, Jr. has been a regular poster at BoyChat for over 10 years and served in the role of a moderator for at least part of that time. Originally he used the name "no name yet". He's one of the many registered sex offenders who post on the site. As a moderator, he often signed his posts bbBCCOG. Hendrix also maintains a profile on PbNation, a site for those who enjoy paint ball, which he joined in April of 2006.

Hendrix was convicted of two counts of attempted sodomy on a male child, a first degree felony, on January 6, 1986. Although his current employment is unknown, he has stated that he has worked in a group setting with children previously.

Our Investigation

This individual was identified by anti-pedophiles online prior to our investigation. We picked up on the information and began investigating Hendrix based on his posts online. We discovered his e-mail addresses, other screen names and his activities were all in line with the information that was previously posted on the internet. We were able to verify his conviction and sex offender registration through public records.

Origin of Nick: The origin of my nic is probably self-explanatory......a "boybuddy" is what i am. when i first posted in march/april 1997 i used "no name yet" several times until i thought of what might be an appropriate nick...."boybuddy" just popped into my head. Jim's initial welcome to me using my "boybuddy" nic reinforced my choice. He said he liked it because it indicated a sort of informality and intimacy at the same time.
