Caillou was a television show that is despised by some lusers. The show was rated the #1 show for children because it introduced them to the real world, and made them feel sorry about themselves because the show tried to offend as many people as possible. The show is one of the most hated of all time, including the main character being the victim of many Grounded Videos.

Caillou ran for three seasons from 2000-2004, then a fourth season entitled "Adventures in Hell" began in 2008, and ended the series in 2010.

History

Beginnings

The show is based on the books by Hélène Desputeaux, originally written in the 1950s-80s. She began production of the show in the year of 1993 after she had an idea of making the show while putting her mouth on someone else's vagina. She decided to constantly annoy people and troll them by making a show they would hate. She then called some of her friends and began an animation crew to begin working on a first season.

In 1996, PBS needed a new inappropriate show to air during the day, and the CEO had seen a little animation created by Desputeaux's team, named "My Penis and Me", which is a 2 min. short that focuses on Caillou who grows a penis and treats it like his brother since Rosie wasn't born yet. He liked that saying that the comedy was genius and that they needed a show that kids could laugh at while teaching them about the real world. They began production on a first season later that year, and a pilot season was aired in Canada in 1998.

After many years of develop, the first season was published in early 2000. The show ran for four (or five in some countries) seasons, made within eleven years.

The Series

Caillou began it's air in early 2000, with the first official episode entitled "Caillou's Homosexual Pilot". It received some high reviews on certain websites, and everyone loved it. They thought it was funny, but inappropriate at the same time, and it was rated TV-MA, and eventually was banned from air in 2006 due to death threats from some homosexuals because they got offended. This led for the rest of the first season to be made, and due to high success, a second season was made.

The First Two Seasons, featured Live Action Scenes where Caillou's stuffed animals traumatize innocent little 4 year old children, threatening them that if they don't continue watching the show and worshipping Caillou as a god, that they will come out of the TV and kill them. In 2003, parents complained about the show being too inappropriate, but they said, "FUCK YOU PARENTS YOU PENISES!!!". Eventually PBS Kids threatened to cancel the show if they didn't remove it, so they did.

Caillou's Most Controversial episode, Caillou's Temper Tantrum, was the one episode that the show was infamously known for. It aired in early 2002, and received a lot of hate from everyone. This was when parents started to find the show annoying and stopped letting their kids watch it, reducing the viewers by nearly 45%.

In 2003, The Show's third season came along, and instead of focusing on sex jokes and drugs, they instead decided to torture Caillou by killing off everyone he loved. Most of the season was spent in an Orphanage where Caillou spends the last few months of his miserable life before dying in the last episode. Leo's and Caillou's diseases carried on from the last season as a running gag until they each died. In 2004, since the main character had died, they had then decided to end the series after three seasons.

Adventures in Hell

In 2008, some of the haters convinced them to bring back the show for a 4th season where Caillou goes to Hell. They liked the idea even though they never intended for this fourth season to come. They called this season "Adventures in Hell" which would be their most inappropriate and offensive season, airing on Adult Swim rather than PBS Kids. The Show took on infamous beings such as Adolf Hitler and Osama Bin Laden, and was said to make South Park look like a Children's Friendly cartoon.

In 2010, a second season began progress but was cancelled because a pedophile screwed them.
