Lenny is an old Limey (although according to some internet sources an Aussie Actor from Brisbane) who made a series of recordings to waste telemarketers time for teh lulz.

According to some phone nerds the Lenny bot is the easiest program to install over VOIP.

Someone realized that Lenny's answers and responses would be really fucking irritating to telemarketers, scammers and just general morons. What makes the calls special is the amount of responses Lenny has is limited and some of these brain surgeons talk to him for hours not realizing that it' a recording. Even moar ridiculous is towards the end of the recording Lenny chases after ducks which should be the big fucking Eureka moment.

There are several ways that Lenny is used in prank calls. 1) The victim talks to Lenny directly with no intervention from the pranker 2) The pranker talks to the victim and brings Lenny on as their father, grand father, etc. 3) The victim thinks he is selling something to a business and they put Lenny on who acts as the boss, etc.
